The Sungai Selangor Dam is a crucial part of the SSP3 in providing the additional water supply for 2 million residents and industries in Selangor and Klang Valley.
The SSP3Click here to read on SSP3 History project was initiated by the Selangor State Government in the wake of the water crisis in 1998.
The SSP3 Rasa water treatment plant, equipped with a total treatment capacity of 250 MLD was operational since 2002. This treatment plant serves the area in northern region of Selangor.
The other treatment plant namely SSP3 Bukit Badong, has the capacity to treat drinking water up to 800 MLD and began its operation since 2003. This treatment plant caters to the Klang Valley area.
