Our Role in Integrated Sungai Selangor River Basin Management
SPLASH works closely with the Selangor Water Management Authority (SWMA/LUAS) and other relevant Government agencies in ensuring sustainability of Sungai Selangor.
SPLASH routinely carries out water quality surveillance, to monitor the health status of the river and the treated water before providing supply to consumers. All information gathered would be periodically compiled and reported, for mutual use by SPLASH internal operations team and by the relevant government agencies. The collated information is part of SPLASH’s planning and management tool which is vital in day-to-day operational decision-making.
