Rasa Water Treatment Plant Stage 1 - Completed

Aerator - Cascade Type : To create turbulence to provide for the maximum contact between water and air to achieve desired dissolved oxygen content at ambient temperature and pressure

Chemicals Mixing - Flow distribution tank – proper dispersion and mixing of coagulant like PACI for Rasa Water Treatment plant. Coagulant is added to make dissolved particles unstable in the raw water and form flocs. At the top of the central rising chamber, flow distribution weir plates are provided to ensure even distribution of the raw water

Filters - Final clarification process in removing finer suspended particle or flocs that cannot removed through clarifiers to meet final water quality standards whereby settled water (water that has gone through the clarification process) is flowed through a sand bed.
