Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd held 'Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama SPLASH' at the Bukit Badong in Kuala Selangor and Rasa Water Treatment Plant in Hulu Selangor on 11 November 2003 and 19 November 2003 respectively. These events mark the presence of the holy month of Ramadhan and important guests at the event were 20 deserving orphans, old folks and Orang Asli selected from several villages in Kuala Selangor and Hulu Selangor.
SPLASH contributed goody bag and cash to the selected recipients. Also present were district government officers and staff workers from the Badong and Rasa Water Treatment Plants.
SPLASH executive director Datuk Azmi Mat Nor was delighted that he had the opportunity to meet-up with the local communities. "SPLASH gives great emphasis in organizing and participating in community service programmes that are beneficial to the deserving community," he said.
The event ended after tarawih prayers and moreh (refreshment served after tarawih prayers).
