Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd (SPLASH), a major player in the water industry, is taking an active role in the government's 'Kempen Penjimatan Air 2'. Aside from the launch event which was officiated by Y.A.B. Dato' Dr. Mohd Khir bin Toyo, Y.A.B. Dato' Menteri Besar of Selangor on November 3, SPLASH also participated in the Kempen Penjimatan Air 2 exhibition which was held recently at a public mall.
Keeping in line with the government's campaign focus of 'Save Water', SPLASH exhibited entries to its own Quiz, Essay and Drawing/Colouring Contests and invited children to its booth to enter simple quizzes; in initiatives to encourage awareness and knowledge on the importance of water conservation.
VIPS Y.B. Dato' Haji Mohd Shariff bin Jajang, State EXCO who is the Chairman of Kempen Penjimatan Air 2 Committee and Ir. Hj. Che Mohamad Che Jusoh, Director of JBAS visited the SPLASH booth and were informed of the activities SPLASH is undertaking towards public education on the importance of water and the need to conserve this valuable resource.
