The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was drawn up by SMHB Environmental Services. Together with this consultant, Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn. Bhd (SPLASH) has also engaged experts from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) for the project.
SSP3 has been planned and designed with great detail and according to international standards. In order to ensure the impact on the environment and nature are kept to the minimum during and post construction periods, each stage of the project its planning, design and operations is closely monitored and reviewed by the government.
